I'm here for you
My name is David Alsop. I am the founder of JumpSpark, LLC.
​
I started this cause in 2016 when I was an unemployed and relocating HR executive struggling to find a career along the Silicon Slopes of Utah. It turns out I had to know a guy that knows a guy to get the offer. I felt left out and alone.
​
My spark across the gap between me and my future came when I started a chapter of DisruptHR to get to know the right people. I wanted to find the people working to find an inclusive future for better business.
The first DisruptHR Salt Lake City took place in 2017, with over 300 attendees and 1,200 followers passionate about changing how HR and business get done. I found a community that wanted to break free from the status quo business cultures of the past, and I found a company that wanted me to help them grow to a better future.

JumpSpark, LLC was created to harness the spark of disruption that this event causes each year. It's my effort to connect those who are excluded from success, like I was, to a better future where business is led by great leaders who know how to lead with inclusion that inspires.
I found Ultradent Products Inc. I am the Vice President of Human Resources and People Strategy for this global company, currently ranked by Fortune Magazine as the #5 best workplace in manufacturing and production.

My current talk available for speaking engagements is titled "Ripping Up the Rules of Talent Acquisition." This talk has inspired HR professionals and leaders across the country to discover new ways of recruiting and has motivated companies to change hiring practices to find the talent of the future.
